canine corral dog park
One of the most exciting and entertaining features of the Copper Leaf Crossing campus is the Canine Corral. This is a free dog park that we have provided so that you can spend some quality time with your canine companion.
This securely fenced area is filled with thick mulch, so it is clean and almost always dry. A gazebo made by Amish craftsman is in the park for your comfort, as well as benches and random dog toys. It does not have any water features so you won’t have wet dogs to load back in your vehicle. Parking is also very convenient.
There are always free dog treats and water for your pooch available at The Pet Emporium. Dogs are more than welcome in the shop! Restrooms are located there as well.
Please observe the following rules when using the park:
- Only well-mannered, non-aggressive dogs are invited into the park. Please immediately remove your dog(s) if they are not playing gently!
- Only well-mannered, non-aggressive humans are invited into the park. Please remove yourself if you cannot play nicely with others!
- Dogs must be healthy, current on vaccines and free of parasites. Please do not bring female dogs that are in heat.
- Each adult should bring no more than three dogs. Dogs must be supervised at all times and never left unattended.
- Dogs must be leashed until they are through the second entry gate and it is locked. We ask that all dogs wear a collar and that it is not studded, pronged or a choke style.
- Please pick up your dog’s waste, and any other waste that you see and deposit it into the provided receptacle.
- If you must bring children, supervise them closely, for their safety.
- Please do not bring outside food or toys into the park, as some dogs may become possessive of them.
- This park is open from 8am to 7pm.
- Requests for park improvements, conflict arbitration or waste removal should be accompanied by an appropriate sized check made out to Copper Leaf Crossing.
- By entering this park, dog owners assume all liabilities resulting from their dog’s actions, as well as all risks resulting from the actions of other dogs. We will not be held liable for any injuries resulting from disregarding any of the rules above.
The Canine Corral will be closed occasionally for maintenance. The park may also be closed for special events, such as our annual Canine Costume Contest. Please see our calendar of events for any scheduled park closings.
